Artrade began in Hong Kong in the 1960s, when our grandfather opened an antique shop selling curios and antiques. Back then, every piece had a past and every customer was a relationship. That was the first lesson: trust is the real currency.

In the 1970s, our father took the family craft in a new direction — jewelry, and above all, jade pendants. He spent decades learning to read a stone the way others read a book: its color, its texture, its soul. Each piece is one of a kind, formed over millions of years — and he believed it deserved nothing less than honesty.

In 1993, the third generation carried that legacy across the Pacific to Los Angeles, selling one-of-a-kind jewelry in the heart of the Downtown LA Jewelry District. For over thirty years, Artrade has served collectors and families who want the real thing.
